I am going to be reviewing the "Ogm Jaf Pkey Emulator V5 Zip" for this blog. It was created by Jason M., who I assume is a fake name, and describes itself as a software that can emulate an iPod Classic 80GB from 2002 on your computer. It is totally free and you don't need any other software to use it, although if you want a smaller download size it is available as a torrent download with a zip file of only 2.54 MB instead of the 40MB download for direct download. There are dozens of fake iPod software out there showing up on various websites, but they are usually not free nor do they truly work. The application screen claims to have full support for the Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection, with support for 30-pin Apple devices, but I have never seen any other blogs talking about this so this is doubtful. There are no instructions included within the zip file anywhere so it is hard to tell what exactly one needs to do if they encounter any problems since the author does not seem to have tested it thoroughly. I clicked on a few of the buttons and nothing happened, so I assumed it was fake. However I found that I could type in any code into the search bar at the top right, and it would appear as if the keypad was actually working (and you wouldn't know anything was wrong until you typed in another code). I tried to click on "start" and "back", but both times it brought up a different menu based on what code you had entered. The one I tried looked very similar to the iPod Classic menu, so I assume it is supposed to be a simulation of a 2002 iPod. However, it said it emulated a 60GB iPod at the top of the screen, so I doubt it has any resemblance to an iPod classic. There was no timer or play/pause button, just "forward" and "back" buttons that didn't really do anything, and there was also no battery life indicator or timer or any other features that would be on a real iPod Classic. There were only 4 buttons on the bottom of the screen, all of which worked as normal. The iPod Classic above it had 3 menus, a clock, a play/pause button, and one showing "0" for hours and minutes. Also another one saying "Ogm Jaf Pkey Emulator V5 Zip" in all black letters with no white background. I clicked on "3" under the menu above the 3rd button to bring up an Apple logo (the same one that appears when you plug in an iPod) with "3-5-1-1" below it in white text. cfa1e77820
